Baseball
The University of Kentucky baseball program has received letters of intent from seven players for the 2010 season, Coach Gary Henderson announced Friday.

UK coach Rich Brooks got the Gatorade dump mid-field after the Kentucky Wildcats beat Florida State University 35-28 to win the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl at LP Field in Nashville on Dec. 31, 2007. This year, the Cats appear headed to the Liberty Bowl.
Football
The Liberty Bowl has emerged as the probable destination for the Kentucky football team this bowl season. Bowl bids don't officially go out until Sunday, but the Wildcats are down to two options: the Liberty and the Music City. If UK and Liberty Bowl officials have their way, the Cats will be headed to Memphis for a game on Jan. 2.

So this time what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas. It improved on Vegas. Four days after winning the Las Vegas Invitational, Kentucky whipped visiting Lamar 103-61 Wednesday night, and easily looked the best the Cats have looked this young season.
